I came up with this design several years ago,
a fun idea for those who like to play cards.
The original design was done using HEX beads, which are a little lighter in weight, taller and narrower than Delica beads. Either type of bead can be used.
Might I suggest doing the fringe down each side in loops of white HEX, since this type of fringe would add very little weight to the completed earrings.
Start first loop at the top left corner of the black border. Working down edge, add a fringe loop to every other black bead with just one loop coming out the two black beads at the bottom two beads. Work up the other side and tie off.
The loops can start with a small loop (25 beads) increasing 5 bead with each loop. Decrease bead amounts up the other side.
